This book explores dialogue as a transformative form of
philosophical practice by unveiling the method behind the unique
dialogue developed by mystic and thinker Jiddu Krishnamurti
(1895–1986). While Krishnamurti himself generally rejected the
cultivation of systems and techniques, Shai Tubali argues that
there are easily identifiable patterns through which Krishnamurti
strove to realize his dialogical aims. For this reason, he refers
to this method, whose existence has evaded Krishnamurti’s
followers and scholars alike, as the Krishnamurti dialogue. He
suggests that these discursive patterns serve to broaden our
understanding of the possibilities of philosophical and religious
dialogues and further illuminate established forms of dynamic
discourse, such as the Socratic method.  Inspired by
Pierre Hadot’s revolutionary reading of the classical Greco-Roman
texts, the author centers his attention on Plato’s Socratic
dialogues and the guru–disciple conversations in the Hindu
Upanishads, which fall within the scope of what may be termed
‘the transformative dialogue’: dialogues that have been written
with the intention of bringing about a transformation in the mind
of the interlocutor and reader and reorienting their way of life.
This text appeals to students as well as researchers and suggests
that the Krishnamurti dialogue is not only a continuation and
development of the transformative dialogue, but that it also
amalgamates ingredients of classical Western philosophy and South
Asian mysticism. Moreover, this type of dialogue encourages readers
to revisit the lost practice of transformative philosophy, in that
it reveals new pathways of philosophical and religious inquiry that
bear thought-provoking practical implications.Â

A Book of the Year finalist and one of the most comprehensive books
ever written about the chakras and their role in human life, The
Seven Wisdoms of Life is grounded not in esoteric theory but rather
in the down-to-earth way we can consciously use the teachings of
the chakras in order to become fully balanced and fulfilled human
beings. The central idea of the seven wisdoms is that the chakras
hold within themselves the seven lessons of life as a whole.
Instead of trying to guess what our core understandings in life
are, we can see it all reflected in the chakras, which are
basically the seven layers of our psyche. With his exciting and
accurate ways of observation, Shai Tubali leads the reader through
each chakra's teaching and life-journey: a detailed description of
the basic psychological themes and psychological reactions of
imbalance; precise and practical solutions for various imbalances;
the major lesson needed to be learned for each chakra; types of
trauma related to the chakra (and how to heal); the
personality-type of each chakra and famous people who embody it;
type of happiness, meaning and purpose of each chakra; ages of
development; collective imprints in each chakra; psychosomatic
disturbances; recommended practices to heal and balance the chakra;
questionnaires that enable readers to determine their chakra
personality type and their current imbalances and understanding.
Over the last two decades, philosophers have been increasingly
inclined to consider science fiction films as philosophical
exercises that center on the nature of human consciousness and
existence. Albert Camus' philosophy of the absurd, however, has
almost never been employed as a constructive perspective that can
reveal unexplored aspects of these films. This is surprising, since
science fiction films seem to be packed with visions and dialogues
that echo the Sisyphean universe. Cosmos and Camus endeavors to set
foot in this uncharted terrain. Its first part introduces the main
components of Camus' absurdity so that it can be easily applied to
the analysis of the films later. Equipped with these Camusean
essentials, the book delves into an indepth analysis of two
first-encounter films (Contact and Arrival) and two A.I. films
(A.I. and Her). These analyses yield more than an insightful
reflection of the absurd contents in science fiction film. Indeed,
imaginative collisions with nonhumans seem to tell us a lot about
the nature of the absurd in the human condition, as well as raising
the question of whether absurdity is exclusively a human matter.
Ultimately, the interpretation of the films illuminates the films
themselves just as much as it illuminates, challenges, and expands
Camus' concept of absurdity.
An invitation to discover and develop your heart powers and tap
into heart energy The heart is more often associated with
vulnerability than hidden powers. We generally feel the need to
protect our heart, building high walls after experiences of
emotional pain and hurt. This response is unconscious, and since
the modern world teaches us to rely on the brain to guide our life
and actions, many of us find it hard to connect to the power and
skills within our own hearts. Addressing the fears and feelings of
insecurity that can arise and prevent us from opening up to the
treasures we hold within, Shai Tubali reveals that the heart, often
perceived as our most vulnerable and fragile place, is in fact the
source of our greatest potential. Providing practical advice,
exercises, meditations, and visualizations proven through his own
heart-work practice, he shows how to tap into the heart's energy
field and easily activate its seven secret powers: wisdom,
vulnerability, forgiveness, ability to love, infinite energy,
transformation, and self-acceptance. Calling for a change from
one-sided mind perception and behavior, Tubali urges us to get in
touch with our core and surrender completely to our heart energy,
leaving all misconceptions behind and tearing down protective walls
to discover our full potential. Unlocking the seven heart powers
will lead to a deep sense of peace, balance, and fulfilment and
enable you to approach life from a place of trust and love.
Indestructible You is a practical guidebook for making yourself so
strong inside that life's relentless ups and downs cannot shake you
and cannot break you. It will help you uncover the powerful,
driving force of your true self, and let go of everything that
holds you back. The book is based exercises and practices developed
by Shai Tubali through his research and work guiding several
hundred individuals through psycho-transformational processes. In
essence: Life is like an eternal seesaw. At every given moment
you're either up - getting what you want and feeling powerful, or
down - finding yourself rejected, weakened and frustrated. We are
forever hoping to bend the laws of this 'unfair game' so that we
stay on the up-side of life. But this unrealistic insistence is why
we suffer. Indestructible You reveals the way to step down from the
eternal seesaw and build an unbreakable self, a self that remains
fearless and strong no matter what life throws at you.
The genius philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche (1844 - 1900) was far
ahead of his time when he envisioned the challenges and pitfalls of
the growing secular world. This world, he claimed, had 'killed God,
' and by doing so, had created a terrible vacuum of meaninglessness
and nihilism. Hence, as Nietzsche stated, mankind must now take on
the duty and responsibility of filling the world with a new inner
meaning and new ethical content out of his new love of life.
Nietzsche referred to the one who would be able to withstand such
an awesome task as the Ubermensch (super-man), a new type of man
who would result from a true evolutionary leap. 'The Mystical
Enlightenment of Friedrich Nietzsche' is Shai Tubali's attempt at
continuing and expanding Nietzsche's enormous endeavor so that
mankind can acquire the tools necessary to form the long-expected
'super-man' from within. Shai delves into the exciting result of
the creation of the 'super-man, ' which is an authentic spiritual
world that flourishes and thrives precisely because the God of
religions perished; it is a world where Darwin merges with the
Buddha, mystical enlightenment blends with evolution, and a great
union between genuine spirituality and genuine secularity occurs.
This book is suitable for both advanced readers of Nietzsche and
for those who have never encountered his teachings. Shai Tubali is
a spiritual teacher from a Yogic tradition and a free thinker who
lives and teaches in Germany. He has been lecturing for the past
thirteen years in Israel and Germany while developing methods of
psychological and spiritual transformation. He has written fifteen
books on spiritual transformation and practical philosophy in the
Hebrew language, and he is the author of 'TheSeven Wisdoms of Life'
and 'The Missing Revolution' which also appeared in English.
If we could take the most intense and penetrating look into our
psyche and strip away the layers, what would we find at our very
core? Could we find the key to psychic heath that unlocks our full
creativity and potential? Working with hundreds of people around
the world, therapist and author Shai Tubali came to realize that it
was power that drove the human psyche: the primal urge for power,
the loss of power, and the entangled and confused desires to regain
power in our lives. Tubali created 'psycho-transformative
processes' to enable the men and women he worked with to uncover
these hardest, hidden and most denied parts of the self, and then
guided them to transform these parts into a source of true,
revitalizing inner power. The Journey to Inner Power sets the
reader on this challenging new path to self-knowledge and
self-liberation.
